The focus of the Linux Strategy Working Group at CHERI Alliance is cross-architecture development work to adapt the Linux Kernel and userspace software to benefit from CHERI’s memory protection and software compartmentalization features.

We hold open video calls every two weeks to coordinate porting Linux to CHERI. Whether you’re an experienced Linux Kernel or userspace developer or just getting started with CHERI, your contributions are welcome. Membership in CHERI Alliance is not required to participate. The topics we’ve covered in previous calls are captured in the meeting notes.
For more information, join the mailing list, chat with us on the cheri-linux channel in the public CHERI-CPU Slack, or email the working group lead.
